What’s good everyone!

So I’m officially in Guyana! I’m in the Demarara Lusignan area. It’s been a ton of fun! We bike everywhere we go so I’ve been pretty tired from that but it’s been good!
This week was crazy. We left the DR at about 3:30 in the morning. We had to wait in this super long line and almost missed our flight, but it turned out we didn’t have to wait in that long line cause they flew us first class down to Curacao! They were the only seats available. So we flew to Panama and then to Curacao, where we stayed for two nights. We hike Mt. Christoffel which was super cool!! We then flew Thursday to Guyana! We went to Trinidad and then down to Guyana. We changed airlines though so we had to go in and out of customs and that took a while! But it was good. We almost missed the flight but they ended up boarding late and so we were right on time. Again, we flew first class. Again, it was really nice haha. We got to Guyana and went to the mission office there and stayed the night.
Guyana is a fun place@! It’s on the coast, and it’s acutally below sea level. It rains super hard here. Last night I woke up to a huge rainstorm and a huge clap of thunder. The power goes out a lot too so randomly the AC stops working in the middle of the night. That’s a really good time. It’s super pretty here though!
Saturday morning we did service for a lady! Because it rains so much the yards get flooded so they dump a bunch of sand on the yard. So that’s what we did. We dumped sand on her yard. She has some coconut trees in her yard that we ate from. My companion is from Guyana and so he got the coconut down from there and like a pro opened it. We drank from them and then had the jelly inside. It was really good!
Well that’s pretty much it! I love you all and hope you have a fabulous week!
