This has been a fun week! I went on exchanges with some elders in Georgetown. I spend the day in Kitty and taught some pretty cool people! We got asked to give a lady a blessing, and as we were giving her a blessing, an earthquake happened! Everything started shaking and it was so cool! Then the next morning as we were studying there was a tremor. So that was fun! Good times here in the land of many waters 🙂

We’ve been biking everywhere! It took us about 45 minutes to get to a lesson the other day. And we were biking in the nice hot sun, so let’s just say I’ve got a pretty good tan now on my arms and face haha. When I take my watch off though it’s kinda scary to see the tan line haha. It’s been good though! I love it here. The people are really nice! Except for a man last night who started yelling at us and telling us that our religion isn’t true and that we worship Satan. Haha what a guy

We went to see a young lady named Tanisia the other day. She wasn’t home but we started talking to her grandma. Her grandma is really nice and we asked as we were about to leave if there was anything we could do for her. She said yes, but she didn’t want us to help because we were in our nice clothes. I told her to put us to work and that we have a washing machine at home! So we moved wood for her for the next hour. She was amazed that we would do that. The reason we did that though was because as missionaries, we are representatives of Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ came to the earth and served people. He served his whole life. So if we really are representatives of Him, wouldn’t it make sense then that we choose to serve others?

I finished the Book of Mormon! Reading it this time was really cool. I marked every reference to God or Jesus Christ. I then added them all up. I found over 8,000 references to God or Jesus Christ. We were teaching a man named Uncle Ram yesterday about the Book of Mormon. I brought that specific copy with me and was able to show him evidence that the Book of Mormon is another testament of jesus Christ. He’s the reason for everything! Well I love you all!
