So this week went by super fast and a ton happened. It was incredible.

So it started out with us going to a giant park across the street that used be a zoo and doing service. We raked leaves and found probably the biggest centipede ever. It was the width of my thumb. Like easily. It was incredible. We promptly killed it because if it bit you then you would die. While there at the park we overheard some people call us “religious military babies”. Gotta love it haha.

Half the MTC got sick this week. They all have diarrhea and they’re barfing uncontrollably. It’s horrible. They moved all  the clean people downstairs so I had to pack up and move to another room. 28 out of the 55 missionaries were sick.

Probably the most exciting thing to happen though came from one man named Elder Jones. I got out of class one day and was walking to my room when from the other side of the hallway I started smelling something horrible. It smelled like something died and had been sitting there for 10 days. As I got closer to my room it only got worse. I went in to my room with my companion and right there in the toilet was the biggest, stinkiest, most horrifying piece of poop ever. And on the toilet seat was a not saying “With love, Elder Jones”. It was freaking hilarious. Now whenever we pass each other he starts giggling. It was probably his proudest moment…

The temple is closed for the next few weeks so we went to the temple saturday. Today we went to the park across the street and explored some pretty awesome caves!! We also played on the playground like little kids. We had a contest to see who could jump off the swings the farthest. We went to a store here too which was cool! Dominican drivers are freaking INSANE. and they honk at literally everything.

I’ll only be here another week! And then it’s off to Trinidad!! I love it here so much and I love all of you! The Book is blue, and the gospel is true!
